Meet The Move Maven
Karen Zweig founded The Move Maven to provide resources, ideas, guidance and hands-on help to boomers, older adults and their families. She and her staff work with clients throughout the Greater Boston area.
After practicing law for a few years, Karen realized she much preferred helping people more directly, which she has done in a variety of settings, primarily in the nonprofit and public sectors. Before founding The Move Maven, Karen served for five years on the management team of an assisted living community, where she helped countless residents adjust to a new lifestyle. She brings with her more than 20 years of managerial and organizational experience in the fields of social service, education, and public health.
The Move Maven was featured recently in an NPR radio story, and Karen appeared on cable television programs in both Brookline and Boston in 2010 and 2011. Karen also has been invited to speak on "The Upside of Downsizing" at senior centers and assisted living communities in Brookline, Newton, Belmont, Cambridge/Somerville and Medford.
Karen and her husband raised their family in Brookline, where she has lived since 1988.Contact The Move Maven Karen@movemaven.com
